Self-initiated creative concepts. Not client work — a look at how Room8 thinks when there's no brief.
Every project on this page started the same way: an idea worth chasing for its own sake. No client, no deadline — just the discipline of building a world all the way through, from the first name on a page to a fully realized identity. This is where that instinct lives, separate from the client work above.
The Last Romantic
A conceptualized fashion identity
What happens when a clothing brand is built like a film rather than a product line? The Last Romantic started as a question and became a complete creative world — an archetype, a philosophy, a color system built from wine and wet pavement and neon, a numbered archive of garments and objects meant to age and accumulate history rather than go out of season.
The project spans identity, product, campaign direction, editorial storytelling, and packaging — a full demonstration of building the world first, then designing everything that belongs inside it.
Lucky Fish
Brand identity / product / art direction
Lucky Fish began as a jewelry concept built around thick silver, steel, and objects with enough personality to become recognizable through wear. It quickly expanded into something larger: a world about tattoos, food, cities, ritual, and the small obsessions that make people interesting.
Currently in development in New York City, Lucky Fish / 001 explores jewelry, print, photography, and editorial storytelling as different objects from the same world.
